勘でピントを合わせます。何も無いので仕方ないです。
低倍率ズームのことが多いので勘でも大丈夫。

It focuses the camera by intuition.
Because it is a zoom of the low magnification, it is mostly safe.

スプリットイメージ。
銀塩スチルカメラでよくあるアレです。縦や斜めになってるカメラもあります。

Split image.
It looks like an old film camera.There are vertical and the diagonal one, too.

マイクロプリズム。
これも古い8mmでは多いです。丸の中がシャープに見えるように探ります。高級機のはとても見やすいですが、安いのはピントの山がよく分かりません。

Microprism.
This is in a lot of cameras, too. As for cheapness, the focus is not understood well though a good camera is very seen easily.

空中像。
Bauerの一部のカメラに十字の入っているものがあります。
この線に視度を合わせます。ガイドにはなりますが厳密なピント合わせは出来ません。

Aerial image.
There is a cross in the viewfinder of a part of Bauer.
The eyepiece focuses it on this line. A strict focus match cannot be done though it becomes a guide.

全面マット。
ピントも深度も分かりますが、ZC1000やBeaulieu等一部の高級機だけです。

Ground glass.
The focus and depth are understood.
It is only in high-level cameras such as ZC1000 and Beaulieu.

ダイクロイック式。
Bell&Howellのカメラにあります。
ピントがずれているところは赤青の像になります。二重像合致式と同じ要領で合わせます。

Dichroic.
It is in the camera of Bell&Howell. The place where the focus shifts becomes a red, blue image.
It is the same feeling as the range finder.

二重像合致式。
昔のレンジファインダーカメラのアレです。ElmoとSankyoの一部のカメラにあります。

It is in a part of camera of Elmo and Sankyo.

BELL&HOWELLのカメラにある、FOCUS-MATICです。本体の横に距離の目盛とボタンがあります。自分が立った状態で被写体の足下を狙います。そしてボタンを押し、離します。目盛を見てみると大体の距離をさしています。その距離にピントリングを合わせるのです。要は三角測量です。撮影する人の背の高さで変わるじゃないかとか、坂道だったらどうするんだとかいう問題はありますが。目測で自信の無い時のためのちょっとしたお助け機能です。

Focus-matic.
It is in the camera of BELL&HOWELL. There are a scale and a button of the distance in the main body. It aims at one's feet of subject while having stood. And, the button is pushed. The scale displays a rough distance. And, please focus the camera. In short, it is a triangulation. Though there is a problem that there is an error margin on height and the slope of the person who takes a picture. It is a little help function.

オートフォーカスは無いのか？あります。
でも時代が時代だけに期待するようなものではありません。ピントリングがガガガと挙動不審な動きをするだけです。AFが付いているカメラも3~4倍のズームのものが多く、あまり役立ちません。

Auto focus.
Isn't there automatic focus? It actually exists.
However, it is an old technology much.
The focus ring does suspicious-looking movement. The autofocus camera is not so useful because there are x3~x4 zoom.
