BAUER C ROYAL~C2の感度設定

　写真はBAUER C2 superですが、この頃のBAUERのカメラは同じだと思います。

　矢印の部分がスライドして感度を設定するタイプです。

　I think that other old BAUER is the same though the photo is BAUER C2 super.
　It is the arrow to do the slide and to set sensitivity.

　ファインダーに分光した後で、さらにEEに分光しています。おかげでファインダーは明るく見やすいのですが、光量のロスは大きいのかな？

　矢印のところにダブル8のフィルムのようなものがあります！

　There is EE prism after the viewfinder prism.
　Therefore, the finder is bright.
　Are there a lot of losses of the light that reaches the film?
　There is the one like the R8 film in the arrow!

　グラデーションのついたフィルムです。感度設定のレバーに合わせてこれがくるくる回ります。フィルムをNDフィルターとして受光部の前に入れて感度を合わせているのですね。グラデーションになっているので無段階の感度対応です。普通は抵抗がずらっと並んでいて電気的に補正しているのですが、これはうまいこと考えたなあ！と感心してしまいました。

　It turns according to the lever of the sensitivity setting. The film is used as ND filter.
　Because it is a smooth gradation, the film of a lot of sensitivity can be used. A usual camera is corrected by resistance electrically.
　I thought this structure to be interesting.
